Eileen Straw
This
well attended event brought Children's Choir Directors together from all around
the region. Eileen was wonderful,
sharing many of her "choir secrets" and great ideas.
She focused on selecting age-appropriate anthems and hymns for different
ages of children, finding the "teachable moments" in the music and
building a teaching plan using the qualities found in those chosen works.
Eileen worked with several young singers, demonstrating her techniques,
then closed with a Director's Roundtable.
